Dear NGJ Supporter,
Thank you for your prayers and many emails of encouragement in response to the prayer request email that was sent regarding Mike’s interview on CBS’s “The Early Show.”
CBS has postponed the interview until Friday morning March 19, 2010. We are confident that this, as with all things, is in God’s hands. Mike will use this additional time to continue to pray and prepare for the interview. Please continue to pray for Mike and that God would use this delay for His glory and Mike’s benefit.
To God be the glory!

I will definitely continue to pray. I pray that the person doing the interview does his homework and knows what questions to ask. I pray that Mr. Pearl’s teachings and ideas will be see for what they truly are. I pray that his followers turn away. I pray hard.
I emailed them and have been praying. Several people at another board have asked that Dr. Sears be on the segment as well, to provide a gentler approach to parenting. And a lot of people are calling/emailing and pointing out the horrible things that Pearl teaches. I hope whoever reads your post and hasn’t added their voices, will do so.
I e-mailed as well.

Dear NGJ Supporter,
Thank you for your prayers and many emails of encouragement in response to the two prayer request emails that were sent regarding Mike’s interview on CBS’s “The Early Show.”
We just heard from the CBS Associate Producer about the interview scheduled for tomorrow. Her email to us is below.
“I’m sorry to do this, but we are NOT going forward with the interview with Mr. Pearl. We are reporting the story tomorrow, but we are just using our correspondent to tell the full story. We don’t have time for a live interview to follow. I’m hopeful we’ll continue to follow the story and there may be another opportunity with Mr. Pearl down the road. Please keep in touch,” Thanks, Lauren
Continue to pray with us, that the publicity we received as a result of this tragedy will end soon.
Sincerely in Christ, Mike and Debi Pearl — The NGJ Staff
